YEAR 6 student Super Mars Mars was struck by lightning last night when Cyclone Richters hit the bay.

Super Mars Bars was flung into the ocean but survived after lifeguards rescued him.

He had been walking around the school with a group of year 6 boys when the cyclone hit.

‘‘The cyclone came out of nowhere and swept Super Mars Bars away,’’ said one of the boys, Jacko Whitey.

‘’We all ran for our lives,’’ said another one of the boys, Illyvalu Toopoo.
Super Mars Bars is in the hospital recovering from shock.

He should be fully recovered in 2-4 weeks.
Cyclone Richters was a lot smaller than predicted, lasting about an hour before moving off to sea.
